Windows 10: WOL feature not working, even with relevant settings enabled

Relevant settings I know of are:

Wake on PCIE/PCI is enabled in the UEFI, and the relevant power management features, and magic packet settings are all enabled. Fast startup is also disabled, as I dual-boot with Linux.

The app I'm using to send the magic packet is called "Unified Remote" where a server is installed in Windows for remote control via android on the same LAN. The app also sends a magic packet for WOL.

The app works perfectly, except for the WOL feature. it just doesn't wake the computer from sleep. I've tried other apps, and they've all failed too.

Everything I've found online to this point says it should just work with these settings, so I'm stumped. Need more information? I'll give whatever I can to help figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For us to narrow down the issue with your Wireless WOL, we would like to know the following:

• Are you logged in to your laptop as an Administrator?
• Which Windows version are you using?
• Were you able to find a Wake-on-LAN option on your BIOS settings?

Laptop updated to 1809. Can't get WOL to send out...

Not sure the topic is exactly accurate. Here's the story:

• Have been successful sending WOL to 2 other PCs in the house
• Had problems with laptop and sent to HP. They upgraded it to 1809
• Now when I send WOL packets the other PCs will not wake up

Given that it was working fine on those PCs before, and the noted changes are to the PC sending the packet, I'm assuming that my sending PC needs something configured.

My searches on WOL only find stuff about setting it up on the remote PC so it will wake up.

Any suggestions about why my sending PC is not sending?

I've been down all of those scenarios regarding Windows and WiFi settings, including permissions but have come up empty. This laptop is now on site and resides in an office when not in the field which also has two desktops behind a modem router that has
a fixed IP from the ISP. I have set up access via WOL to the desktops which is faultless.

Just this morning I've discovered a later Lenovo driver for the WiFi device which I will try. The laptop appears to have connected to the wrong router so I have to go to site anyhow and will try the new driver when I get there later in the week.

In regard to the sleep state, were you able to see the WOL feature as ungreyed in the S4 state?
