    I have Word 2003 and 2016 both installed on a Windows 10 PC. I used to be able to right click on either one in the task bar and get the appropriate popup context menu. Now when I right click on Word 2003 in the task bar, I get the Word 2016 popup menu. Then if I click on a recent file that was created in Word 2003 it opens the file in Word 2016. I don't know why the right click menu changed. Can I set it so that Word 2003 right click menu will only show documents created in that version?

    Is it just one file, or all your word files?

    With the exception of Outlook, I have yet to find a reason to stop using Office 2000, 2003, and 2007. They open all the latest files just fine, and they work just fine.

    I have a lot of ms word files on my pc. But one of them showed me an error - Getting unknown error messages while opening (.doc) or (.docx) files. I don't know how to open my word file or repair microsoft word. Any suggestions, guys, please.
