    Word 2003 on Windows 10, script errors when using Help


    Since shortly, I receive errors when using the Word 2003 Help running on Windows 10. The Help pages itself look 'simplified', but when clicking a link, a script error is generated.

    This happens for all users, on two computers. Nothing has been changed on the computers, except the Windows' updates.

    My conclusion: the cause of the problem is some recent update.



    Script Error: The value of property 'Outline2' is null or undefined, not a Function object. Code: 0. URL: mkWord 2003 on Windows 10, script errors when using Help :mad:MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\%20(x86)\Microsoft%20Office\OFFICE11\1033\wdmain11.chm::/htm/wdPrintBooklet.htm. Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? [Yes] [No]. ' Yes: nothing happens.

    Note: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\1033\wdmain11.chm' is the Office Word 2003 help file. As a workaround, I now open this help file directly and it works normally.



    Do you perhaps have the same problem or know a solution, please help.

    Is it just one file, or all your word files?

    With the exception of Outlook, I have yet to find a reason to stop using Office 2000, 2003, and 2007. They open all the latest files just fine, and they work just fine.

    I have a lot of ms word files on my pc. But one of them showed me an error - Getting unknown error messages while opening (.doc) or (.docx) files. I don't know how to open my word file or repair microsoft word. Any suggestions, guys, please.

    Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

    I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?
