    Word 2007 no longer reognised by Win 10 update


    After installing the latest Win 10 update, MS no longer recognizes my LEGITIMATE purchased MS Word 2007 Home product. Now every time I try to open a Word Doc, it tries to get me to subscribe to Word 365. What now?

    Word 2007 Hangs on startup after Windows 10 update

    Hi not seen any posts on the Windows 10 upgrade and consequent updates affecting opening of MS Word 2007.

    MS Word will not open.

    Have trouble shooted - no issue identified refers me to MS communities.

    Now hangs on opening in Safe Mode.

    I removed the entire Office 2007 software restarted my Windows 10 pc - still the same issue program hangs.

    I don't want to resort to having to buy Office 365 just because there's an issue with upgrading and updating in Windows 10.

    Any suggestions before I hang my head in MS corporate shame and give in to buying new software?
