Windows 10: Word Mail Merge appending blank label to every legit label

Discus and support Word Mail Merge appending blank label to every legit label in Microsoft Office and 365 to solve the problem; I've created a mail merge document drawing data from an Excel spreadsheet and merging to address labels to be printed from a Brother label printer....     Word Mail Merge appending blank label to every legit label


    I've created a mail merge document drawing data from an Excel spreadsheet and merging to address labels to be printed from a Brother label printer. Everything formats and prints fine, except Word is appending a blank label to every record, as you can see below, which would cause me to waste a lot of labels if I proceeded with this. I'm unable to delete the paragraph mark on the blank label. I thought this might have something to do with the table layout, but I haven't been able to find any table formatting tools to play with. I used the Mail Merge Wizard to set this up. Thanks for any tips.

    Avery Label Printing using word mail merge

    After many years of successful label printing my labels are missmatching down the page when printing. I am using Avery J8160 and Word mail merge using filtered Outlook contacts list. I have copied the merged file to my laptop which is connected to the same
    HPC8180 All in Printer and it works fine.

    Any clues please

    printing labels with mail merge

    When printing labels using mail merge/ windows 10/ office 2016, the labels do not line up with the commercially available label sheets despite putting in the correct code (eg L7160). By the time the last line of three addresses at the bottom of the A4
    sheet appear, they labels are all out of sync. This happens with other label sheets too. It looks like the fault lies with the aligning the labels to suit the page, the margin at the bottom is well out compared with the settings on the L7160 set up.

    Mail Merge in Microsoft Word 2010

    Using the "Create and print labels using mail merge" instructions I've created an address list for mailing labels successfully.

    However, there should be 36 labels, or 2 pages, and I only get the first page of labels when I print.

    Any help would be appreciated.
