Windows 10: Word not working correctly.

I open files in Document, keep getting a popup stating to the effect, Word has run into an error preventing it to run correctly, saying to repair Word would need to be closed. When I press the correct now button it never corrects the problem. What needs to be done to fix this? and in the right top of tool bar in message Unlicensed Product. I need help!

There is a possibility that this is due to recent changes in the document or in the Word application itself. To properly isolate this issue, kindly verify the following:

• Any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
• Which version of Word application are you using?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done to isolate the issue?
• Have you tried starting the Word application in safe mode?

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
