Windows 10: Wrong CPU usage on Windows 11

I noticed that in MSI afterburnet CPU usage is wrong. During the game it shows 17%, while in task manage it shows 100%. I tried other apps inlcuding Asus GPU tweak and Windows in built "Game bar" and all of them show wrong CPU usage. The only real usage shows Task manager. Anyone having this problem? How to fix this?

Thanks for your suggestions unfortunately, this didnt changed anything.

Shows still 100% CPU usage. Maybe i will change back to Windows 10 and wait a bit longer before upgrading to 11.

2) Establish a Clean Boot to see if that resolves it:

3) Run System File Checker/DISM in WIndows 11:

After Update to Windows 11 wrong CPU usage in Task Manager

Hello all,

since i upgraded from Windows 10 to Win 11 (21H2)(22000.258) the TaskManager shows wrong CPU usage (its nearly always at 100% usage).

So i reinstalled the whole Windows 11, and made a clean install, just to be sure its not related to the upgrade. But it still shows wrong CPU usage.

X Box Game Bar is showing me the correct usage as well MSI Dragon Center. Is this a problem with Windows 11, cause i didnt had this on Windows 10?

My PC spec:

MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon Max Wifi (latest BIOS update)

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X

4x 16GB Ram 3200 G.Skill

Zotac RTX 2700 Super

NVMe MP600 1TB
