Seriously, I've had Windows 10 less than a week now and it's the biggest pile of steaming **** going. What happened to being user-friendly?

Why were all these unnecessary and stupid ideas implemented in this OS?

In this case, why does Windows 10 ALWAYS reopen the last program used on start up? And why is the only solution that I've found online require a download to remedy?

Was there a bet within Microsoft to try and produce the most aggravating OS ever?

Oh, and yes, I deem this a 'system failure' AS IT SHOULD NOT **** HAPPEN.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    sound but no video?WTF

Can you tell us what you're doing? Step by step? What program are you using? Like I say, if you're using VLC, any codecs you install won't help you at all since VLC doesn't actually look outside of its own libraries.

Just list the steps that you're taking.
