    Xbox 360 (wired) not working, 1st and 4th light turn on for a second when plugging in...


    - Using Windows 10

    - Wired Xbox 360 Controller

    - Uninstalled drivers by showing hidden devices in Device Manager and removing the Xbox 360 one.
    - Did a restart, uninstalled / re-installed the "Xbox 360 Accessories Software" (which can be found here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/6/9/4/69446ACF-E625-4CCF-8F56-58B589934CD3/Xbox360_64Eng.exe )


    Tried other USB ports (both USB2 and USB3), nothing helps.


    It worked fine before and when plugging in another computer, it works just fine and it highlights the 1st light after a few seconds, so the controller itself isn't broken.


    Was there some sort of update for Windows 10 that started blocking this device? Anything else I can try to get it to work again?

    The drivers for Xbox 360 Controllers are automatically installed on Windows 10. If your Xbox 360 wired controller is not detected by your PC, try plugging it into a different USB port, and then test it again.

    Wired XBOX 360 controller problem

    When I plug my wired XBOX 360 Windows controller into my Dell XPS 13 which has only two USB ports, it no longer works or lights up. DON'T suggest anything driver-related, because the controller doesn't even try to install new drivers when I reconnect it
    after I deleted its drivers from my laptop. PLEASE HELP ME

    My Wired Xbox 360 Controller won't turn on with my PC or my Xbox

    Hey guys, last year I bought a wired Rock Candy Xbox 360 controller. It worked fine for a few months. But suddenly and without explanation it stopped turning on altogether. The green light on the Xbox logo doesn't even flash. I have another controller
    of the same brand which works perfectly which confuses me even more. When I plug it into my controller it doesn't even recognize that a controller is plugged in. If you have any answers or ideas on how to fix this please tell me. I appreciate your responses.
