Windows 10: Xbox App Freezes My Computer

Any idea how to fix this? I got the game pass for pc with the Xbox app from the windows store, but every time I load it up, after about an hour or 2 my computer starts to slow waaaaaaaaay down and then freezes and I have to restart it manually. If anyone has any idea how to fix this that would be great!

XBox app crashes on launch in Windows 10

Thank you for posting your response.

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app on your computer and check.
Follow the steps provided below.

• 
  Type Windows Powershell in search box.
  
• 
  Right click on Windows Powershell and select
  Run as administrator.
  
• 
  Copy and paste the following command.
  
  • get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxApp* | remove-appxpackage
• 
  Press Enter key.
  

After uninstalling the Xbox app, I suggest you to download and install the app again and check.

• Are you facing this issue in local account or Microsoft account?

Step 1:
Run a Windows app troubleshooter and check.

Step 2: Run a System and Maintenance troubleshooter and check.

  Press the ‘Windows + X’ key and select Control Panel.
  
•

  Follow the on screen steps and check.
  

Check if the issue persists in the Clean boot state.
