    This is really getting annoying now everytime I join a party and try to do something else, it starts to lock up the entire system. It's only the xbox companion app that's causing it, everything else works flawlessly. Can anyone help?

    The Xbox app has been renamed to Xbox Console Companion starting with version 48.54.3003.0 for Windows 10.

    • Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox Dev Mode Companion?

    In the meantime, I recommend that you perform the troubleshooting steps below:
