Windows 10: Xbox Game Bar Voice Sounds Bad

When I record a clip, my friend sounds really bad when talking through discord. I know its not his mic, and I can only hear it like that when its recorded through game bar. Is there any way to fix this? Also, I cant hear myself when I record a clip, and ive looked into the settings and have no clue why it doesnt pick up my voice.

Here’s your chance to contribute and let Team Xbox know what’s missing, what you would like to see, and perhaps even a brand or manufacturer you’d like to see partner with Team Xbox on creating licensed hardware.

Some of the user suggestions so far include:

“Xbox Should Create Wired Versions of Controllers”

“Support the use of a USB WiFi Adapter on the console”

Do you like to record your gameplay on Windows 10 and share it with your friends? How about creating highlight reels or compilation videos? What kind of features would you like easy access to while playing a game? Team Xbox is looking for your contributions on how you would like to use Game Bar in Windows 10 right before, during, and after finishing a gaming session.

Take some time to explore the current Game Bar by pressing Win + G while playing a game on PC, then swing by the Idea Drive with your thoughts and feedback. A few examples of existing user ideas include:

Xbox Game Bar Not Launching

Hi,

Xbox is one of Windows 10’s default apps. This app integrates the Xbox with Windows, and it includes a handy Game bar that you can take snapshots and record video with. If the Game bar is not opening, we suggest that you follow the steps provided on this
link on how to fix problems with Game bar on Windows 10.
