Windows 10: xbox game pass install

I bought the xbox game pass for pc and have downloaded a few games from it in the past it took a long time to actually get them to download. I've been trying to download a new one but the install button is greyed out and it says that I don't have any devices connected to my account. I think it's down to my windows being at the wrong version 1803 and not 1909, but when I download the update my computer will reboot itself and blue screen 2 or 3 times before reverting back to the previous version.


If someone has any idea of why that is happening and how to fix it, it would be much appreciated. failing that, is there a way to get my account to recognize my pc without the update? feels kind of pointless paying a monthly subscription when I'm not actually getting what I pay for.

If you can’t install Game Pass Games on your PC, follow these suggestions:

Check if you have the right Game Pass

Clear Cache of Xbox Game Pass App

Update to the latest Windows 10 version,viz v1903

Admin privileges for Games

Give Admin privileges for Games

Check Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Repair Game if it keeps crashing or doesn’t work

Cannot Sign in to Xbox Live
