Capcom invites you to participate in the Project Resistance Closed Beta Test on Xbox One! Project Resistance is an asymmetrical 4 vs 1 survival horror game. Control one of four young people imprisoned in a testing facility and trying to escape–they are the Survivors. Or take the role of the Mastermind, watching the Survivors through closed-circuit cameras and trying to stop them.

Pre-download begins September 30, 7:00 AM PT.

Project Resistance Playtest Times:

PDT: October 4, 2019 12:00 AM PDT – October 7, 2019 12:00 AM PDT

UTC: October 4, 2019 7:00 AM UTC – October 7, 2019 7:00 AM UTC

HKT: October 4, 2019 3:00 PM HKT – October 7, 2019 3:00 PM HKT

JST: October 4, 2019 4:00 PM JST – October 7, 2019 4:00 PM JST

Note: The Project Resistance Closed Beta Test is not available in some areas.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Sign-in on your Xbox One console and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if necessary).

Navigate to Insider content > Games > Project Resistance.

Select Join.

Wait until the registration completes to be directed to the Store and install Project Resistance!

Note: Space in the Project Resistance playtest is limited and offered on a first-come first-served basis.

Not already an Xbox Insider? Joining is easy! On Xbox One or Windows 10, install the Xbox Insider Hub app from the Store, launch the app, and accept the Xbox Insider Program Terms of Use.
If you encounter any issues while playing the Project Resistance Closed Beta Test, please submit feedback via “Report a problem:”

Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller

Select Report a problem

Choose Add a new problem

Select Games for your category, then Project Resistance

Include details of your issue, with screenshots or clips, if applicable

Xbox Insiders Join Cuisine Royale Closed Beta on Xbox One 1/10 - 1/31

This week we’re excited to invite all Xbox Insiders on Xbox One to participate in the Closed Beta for Cuisine Royale! The Cuisine Royale Closed Beta begins on 1/10 and ends on 1/31. There’s limited space available for this Closed Beta, so please follow the steps under HOW TO PARTICIPATE to join in now.

Cuisine Royale is an all-kitchen-warfare Battle Royale game with the most honest system for Loot Boxes ever. It’s made by developers of squad based MMO shooter Enlisted and is completely free.

In battles, you get ingredients that are used for “cooking” new suites, masks, gestures and other cosmetic items that don’t influence your combat effectiveness.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

1. On your Xbox One console, sign in and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app (or install the Xbox Insider Hub app from the Store first if necessary).
2. From the main landing page, navigate to Insider content > Games > Cuisine Royale.
3. Select Join.
4. Wait for the registration to complete (Pending will disappear) to be redirected to the Store and install Cuisine Royale!

NOTE: Space is limited for the Cuisine Royale Closed Beta, and will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.

Join the Aftercharge Closed Beta on Xbox One 12/14 - 12/16

This week we’re excited to invite all Xbox Insiders on Xbox One to participate in the Aftercharge Closed Beta! There’s limited space available for this Closed Beta, so please follow the steps under HOW TO PARTICIPATE to join in now.

Aftercharge is a 3 vs 3 competitive game pitting invisible robots against an invincible security squad in high-octane tactical skirmishes. Six glowing structures called extractor are at the center of the gameplay and serve as the objective for both teams.

The robots have to coordinate their attacks, create distractions and sneak around to destroy them. The enforcers on the other hand have to cover as much ground as possible and use their abilities wisely to spot the attackers and stop them before they can destroy all of the extractors.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

1. On your Xbox One console, sign in and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app (or install the Xbox Insider Hub app from the Store first if necessary).

Twitch Beta now available on Xbox One for Xbox Insiders

Watch your favorite games live and connect with players and fans around the world in the fully redesigned Twitch app, now available to all Xbox Insiders on Xbox One!

New features and improvements include:

Live video previews – check out live streams while you browse

Better support for past broadcasts – see chat on offline videos

Improved stability – the Twitch app has been rebuilt from the ground up to improve your viewing experience

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

On your Xbox One console, launch the Xbox Insider Hub (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if necessary).

Navigate to Insider content > Apps > Twitch Beta.

Select Join.

Wait for the registration to finish processing (Pending will disappear) to be redirected to the Store page and install the Twitch Beta, or, select the Show in store button on the page once the registration is complete.

NOTE: After selecting Join, it can take some time for the registration to process. If Pending does not disappear after joining and you see a “Your registration is taking longer than expected” message, please check back a bit later.

If you encounter any issues with the new Twitch Beta app, please submit feedback via Report a problem (hold down the Xbox button and select Report a problem from the power menu).
