  1. Xbox Live connectivity - Teredo not in device manager

I am having the widely known Xbox live issue (Teredo unable to qualify NAT, Server connection blocked)

NONE of the solutions on the xbox or microsoft forums worked. I cannot reinstall teredo because it is simply not there. I tried setting registry keys, opening ports, restarting services, disabling it in netsh. NOTHING WORKED. I cant decribe how mad i am, i spend 5 hours of my free time already just to be able to play one game.

Teredo is not showing under hidden devices and i cannot install it manually through "Add legacy hardware" because its not there either.

I talked to someone from xbox support and 2 people from microsoft support, but since every supporter didnt even bother to read what i said and nothing worked, this is my last hope...

    :)

  2. teredo tunneling adapter completely missing!

I'm trying to play Forza Horizon 3 and the xbox app says TEREDO is unable to qualify. Server connectivity: Blocked.

I have gone through all the official steps through CMD, Services, and Device manager. There's no trace of anything Teredo on my rig.

Is there a driver I can manually download?

  3. Xbox app on PC - "Teredo is unable to qualify"

    Hi Tony,

There are several reasons why the Teredo is unable to qualify for the Xbox app when connecting to Xbox Live. It is possible that the required network ports are not opened or the Teredo Tunneling Adapter is not updated or installed on your PC. To resolve
your concern, we suggest that you perform the following solutions:

Solution 1. Uninstall and reinstall the Teredo Tunneling Adapter.

    • Press Windows + X on your keyboard and select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type the following command: netsh interface Teredo set state disable
    • Hit Enter.
    • Press Windows + X on your keyboard again and select
      Device Manager
      .
    • Select View > Show Hidden Devices.
    • Click on Network Adapters.
    • Look for the adapters that contain Teredo such as Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface or
      Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter.
    • Right-click on the adapter name and click Uninstall.
    • Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

    To re-enable the Teredo adapter:

    • Press Windows + X on your keyboard and select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type the following command: netsh interface Teredo set state type=default

Note The Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter will reinstall automatically. It is not recommended to install the
Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface adapter in the Device Manager because it may cause issues with the Teredo functionality.

Solution 2. Open the network ports using port forwarding.

There are possibilities that your network hardware or firewall might be blocking communication with the Xbox Live servers. Please refer to this

    link
and follow the steps under Part 1: Set a static IP address, or switch to manual IP settings,
Part 2: Open ports on your router or gateway, and Part 3: Set a static Teredo port.

If you need further assistance on configuring your router settings, you may contact your router manufacturer.

Should you have any other queries, you can contact us anytime.

  4. Xbox Live connectivity - Teredo not in device manager

    Teredo General System Failure

I've Managed to fix this problem and get the party chat to work in the Xbox app . Deleting the Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter n only need the Teredo Tunneling Pseudo Interface.

if you don't have the pseudo interface you can add it by opening the command prompt as an administrator and doing the following steps.

    • type netsh : press enter
    • type int teredo : press enter
    • type set state disabled : press enter
    • type int ipv6 : press enter
    • type set teredo client : press enter
this will add the pseudo interface in the device manager.

it seems having the other teredo adapter makes trying to connect to a party in the xbox app a problem, or so it did for me.
