Windows 10: Xbox Live Gold Free Play Days March 21 to 24

During this weekend’s Free Play Days event, you can ball out in arcade style street ball, go off-roading in bikes and ATVs, and scavenge your way across a post-war Norway. There’s no shortage of fun and action that Xbox Live Gold members can immerse themselves in with NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, MX vs ATV All Out, and Vigor. The Free Play Days event begins Thursday, March 21 at 12:01 a.m. PT and runs through to Sunday, March 24 at 11:59 p.m. PT. You can find and install the games here. To download on console, click on the Gold member area on the home dashboard on your Xbox One.

The games are also available for purchase so you can continue playing while keeping your Gamerscore and achievements earned in-game during the event.

MX vs ATV All Out

Vigor (Game Preview)

Play UFC 2 Free with Xbox Live Gold August 15 - 21

Play Overwatch Free August 23-27 with Xbox Live Gold

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to join the fight for the future as an agent of Overwatch, now’s your chance! From August 23–27, we’re calling on all prospective soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and oddities: assemble your teams and dive in during the Overwatch free weekend event!If you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription, you’ll be able to play with the full Overwatch roster of 28 heroes––including the newly released Wrecking Ball––across 18 maps set around the globe. You’ll have full access to Quick Play, Custom Games, and a variety of unique play options in the Arcade.

Player progression is unlocked as well, so you’ll be able to level up and earn limited-time Summer Games Loot Boxes. Plus, if you decide to purchase Overwatch, either this weekend or at a later date, you’ll keep any progress you made and achievements earned during the free weekend event––just be sure to use the same Xbox Live account that you played on.

The free period will begin at 11:00 a.m. PDT on Thursday, August 23 and will end at 11:59 p.m. PDT on Monday, August 27 in all supported regions. Instructions on how to participate are below.

Step 1: Turn on your Xbox One and log in to your Xbox Live Gold account

Step 2: Go to the Microsoft Store, then select Search

Step 3: In the search field, type in Overwatch

Step 4: Select Overwatch: Legendary Edition from the search results and then click Free Trial

Step 5: Once the download and installation processes are complete, click Launch to begin!

March 2017 Games with Gold for Xbox

Welcome to another month of Games with Gold! We have four exciting new games for you to add to your library in March: two Xbox One and two Xbox 360 games that can be played through Backward Compatibility.

Starting off in March on Xbox One is the first-person psychedelic horror game Layers of Fear, followed by E3 2014 “Game of Show” Evolve Ultimate Edition.
