    Hi all,


    So I've recently connected my Xbox One Kinect to my Windows 10 PC to see if I can use it as a webcam.


    I purchased an adapter, connected it all up and connected it to my computer with everything working.


    When I open the Camera App it shows me the exactly what I expect:

    However - when I go to the Audio & Video Settings in Skype the image is flipped:

    The problem is I can't see any way of flipping this around so it looks like it does when using the Camera app.


    Selecting "Webcam settings" in Skype under Audio & Video Settings doesn't bring up any settings box or anything despite it being in blue text and able to be selected.


    The issue is the same with other video "chat" apps as well Discord, Zoom, etc ... Discord example below:

    Is there any way to rectify this?

    XBox 360 Kinect as Webcam

    Is it still possible to use an xbox 360 kinect as a web camera in windows 10? I used to use it in windows 8 (i think) and it worked perfectly fine but now all of the applications like the browser, and the camera app show that I have no camera connected.
    The strange thing though is that when I use the OpenNi virtual webcam application it works perfectly fine and I can see myself clear as day (only in the OpenNI Virtual Webcam app) but I can't seem to get other applications to use it as input. I think I downloaded
    it from here https://falahati.net/component/attachments/download/18 .

    Sorry to ask such an outdated question and if I have to I'll just buy a webcam but any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
