Starting at 2:00 p.m. PST today, members of the Xbox One Preview Alpha Ring will begin receiving the latest 1906 Xbox One system update (19H1_RELEASE_XBOX_DEV_1906\18362.4031.190519-1944).

New Features:

This first update is meant to lay the groundwork for what’s to come in 1906, so while you’ll find fixes and known issues listed below, please keep an eye out for feature announcements as they’re ready to be previewed. Mixer

Users can watch full-screen Mixer streams on the Mixer Twist. Simply navigate to the Mixer twist, select a stream and hit A. Please test out these new features and provide feedback.

Audio

Headsets are not being assigned to the users profiles and not working correctly.

Sometimes users may encounter this launch error and we are tracking a fix. Workaround – Hard reboot the console.

Xbox One Preview Alpha Ring 1811 System Update 181019-1520 - Oct. 22

Starting at 6:00 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Alpha Ring will begin receiving a new 1811 Xbox One system update (181019-1520). Read on for more about the fixes and known issues in the latest 1811 system update.

Fixes:

Home

USB Keyboard navigation fixes to resolve navigation issues on the console.

System

Addressed the system Out of Box Experience to set the features of Dolby Vision, Variable Refresh rate and low latency modes when enabling 4k mode.

Stability fixes in this build.

Known Issues:

Avatars

It can take up to 10 seconds to view an Avatar on the profile screen after creating a new Avatar.

My Games and Apps

We are tracking an issue in which game and app updates are not automatically downloading and installing.

Power

We are tracking an issue in which the console is fully powering off when it is placed into Instant On mode.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Xbox One Preview Alpha & Skip System Update 1810.180726-1906 - July 29

Important Build Notes

Avatars

We’ve received feedback that the integration of Avatars on console has been a bit confusing due to the use of phrases like “Avatars on Home” and “Avatars on Dashboard,” so we wanted to clear up a few things. Currently, Avatars are visible to Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip Ahead and Alpha Rings in the following places: the Avatar Editor, activity feed, leaderboards, and the Profile.

Fixes

Groups

Fixed an issue in which some users would receive and error when deleting Local Groups.

Home

Fixed an issue in which Pinned content blocks overlapped with the Most Recent App on dashboard on console boot.

Settings

Fixed an issue in which some users with Auto sign-in would still see the sign in screen when booting to live tv

Known Issues

Avatars

It can take up to 10 seconds to view an Avatar on the profile screen the first time after your console has flashed.

Microsoft Edge

The cursor may disappear when exiting and re-entering the app

Workaround: Press Y when re-entering the app to make the cursor re-appear

Xbox One Preview Alpha & Skip Ahead System Update 190118-1520 Jan. 22

Starting at 2:00 p.m. PST today, members of the Xbox One Preview Skip Ahead and Preview Alpha Rings will begin receiving the latest 1904 Xbox One system update (19h1_release_xbox_dev_1904.190118-1520). Read on for more about the fixes and known issues in the latest 1904 system update. For the next few releases we will keep Alpha Skip Ahead and Alpha builds in sync to test core functionality.

New Features:

Mini Keyboard

We are flighting a new Mini Keyboard and would love your feedback. If you prefer or require the bigger keyboard for accessibility, it is still available in Settings -> Ease of Access -> Magnifier -> Larger Keyboard. This mini keyboard floats over the UI, so will position itself smartly around textboxes. If you see any positioning or general issues, please file bugs with as much detail as possible (app you were using, screenshot etc.) as we deliberately have minimal logging around text entry for privacy reasons. Keep an eye out for a quest and survey!

Framework enhancements to the messaging system to support future feature work.

We are aware of an issue with skype that when a user clicks on a conversation and/or pressing X to start a video call seem to freeze and eventually crash skype
