Windows 10: Xbox One Preview Alpha ring 1907 System Update 190619-1920 - June 21

Starting at 2:00 p.m. PST today, members of the Xbox One Preview Alpha Ring will begin receiving the latest 1907 Xbox One system update (Build: 19H1_RELEASE_XBOX_DEV_1907\18362.5037.190619-1920).

New Features:

This update continues to lay the groundwork for what’s to come in 1907, so while you’ll find fixes and known issues listed below, please keep an eye out for feature announcements as they’re ready to be previewed. Thanks, as always, for your passion for helping make Xbox One system updates the best they can be prior to release to GA!

My Games and Apps – Download Queue Improvements

We are adding new features in this build to the Download Queue in My Games and Apps today based on User feedback. You will now see the Estimated time to finish downloads appears in queue and Allow users to move titles in the queue up and down, not just move to front. Please test out these new features and provide feedback.

My Games and Apps

Performance fixes to My Games and Apps when verifying title entitlements.

Ready to Install (RTI) in collection fixed to show new gamepass additions from E3.

System

Fixes to address consoles shutting down while playing Mortal Kombat 11.

Fixes to Guide profile color partially updated after being signed out and back in.

UI alignment fixes to content blocks and Home for text alignment.

Mixer twist fixes.

Narrator fixes when searching for clubs.

Performance fixes to My Games and Apps.

Known Issues:

Audio

Headsets are not being assigned to the users profiles and not working correctly.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Xbox One Preview Alpha Ring 1810 System Update 180918-1920 - Sept. 21

Starting at 2:00 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Alpha Ring will begin receiving the latest 1810 Xbox One system update (180918-1920). Read on for more about the fixes and known issues in the latest 1810 system update.

Fixes:

My Games and Apps

Fixes to how Games and Apps are installed, updated and launched to ensure the games/apps can launch correctly and not provide the user with an error requiring a reinstall of the game/ app.

System

System Memory and Performance fixes in this build.

Localization fixes in this build.

Known Issues:

Avatars

It can take up to 10 seconds to view an Avatar on the profile screen after creating a new Avatar.

My Games & Apps

We are aware that some users are experiencing crashing of a game or the Youtube app when you are either launching or resuming the Youtube app.

If you are in the Youtube app and then Resume to a Game the app/game and console may hang or crash.

Power

We are tracking an issue in which the console is fully powering off when it is placed into Instant On mode.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Virtual Keyboard

We are aware that special characters appear incorrectly when using the Virtual Keyboard.

We are aware that the recently used emoji’s/characters are not present when you launch the VK again.

Fixes:

Home – Avatars

Fixed an issue in which Avatars were not properly displayed within the profile pages.

Home – Cortana

Fixed an issue in which Cortana was unable to make selection of account names.

Mixer

Fixed an issue for a user when broadcasting and opening the guide would cause the camera momentarily to vanish from the active broadcast.

My Games and Apps

Fixed an issue in with users would lose navigation controls/focus in the manage gamesection for a game or app.

Notifications

Fixed the social icon within the notifications toasts that was appearing as a blank square while in Light theme contrast.

Settings – Accessory App

We have resolved an issue in which some users were not able to navigate correctly, assign controller configurations and set Vibration settings in the Xbox Accessory app.

Known Issues:

Audio

Some users may experience intermittent loss of Audio with certain configurations of AV receivers with ATMOS or with changing audio configurations during console use.

Pi-hole

Pi-hole users may encounter issues signing in, creating, or recovering accounts upon downloading the 1804 update. This is due to a new configuration file which is downloaded from a URL Pi-hole blocks by default.

Workaround: Add clientconfig.passport.net to the Pi-hole allowed IP address list.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter an incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.
