Starting at 2:00 p.m. PST today, members of the Xbox One Preview Alpha Ring will begin receiving the latest 1908 Xbox One system update (Build: 19H1_RELEASE_XBOX_DEV_1908\18362.6060.190802-1945).

Known Issues:

Store/Purchasing

We are investigating an issue where users are reporting issues making purchases while in games & apps.

Audio

Users who have Dolby Atmos enabled and console display settings set to 120hz with 36 bits per pixel (12-bit) are experiencing loss of Dolby Atmos audio in some situations.

Workaround: Disable 120hz or set Video Fidelity to 30 bits per pixel (10-bit) or lower.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Xbox One Preview Alpha Ring 1902 System Update 181202-1920 - Dec. 5

Starting at 2:00 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Alpha will begin receiving a new 1902 Xbox One system update (181202-1920). The 1902 build is a new release of the recovery building upon the latest 1811 build plus new bug fixes. Read on for more about the fixes and known issues in the latest 1902 system update.

Home

Performance fixes to improve the Home Dashboard experience.

Mouse

We have improved the responsiveness of mouse performance to reduce lag.

Known Issues:

Audio

We are tracking audio issues in which some games have audio that cuts in and out

Audio settings reverting to a previous settings after taking an update. Workaround is to please turn on your Audio Receiver prior to turning your Xbox One and the settings will not revert.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Fixed a memory leak to address overall system performance.

Known Issues:

Audio

Headsets are not being assigned to the users profiles and not working correctly.

Some users are encountering no audio on their Xbox console after boot (no shell audio, no game audio, no app audio), then have CSS ask them to perform the following steps:

Cold reboot the console

OR

Go to Audio settings on console

Change their HDMI audio settings to the highest supported uncompressed channel count for their equipment

Switch back to the desired format

Audio should be restored

My Games and Apps

We are tracking the video corruption issue with Youtube and Netflix 4k playback.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Headsets are not being assigned to the users profiles and not working correctly.

My Games and Apps

We are tracking an issue in which My Games and apps is blank after deleting a title from collection. A console reboot fixes this temporarily and we are working on a fix.
