Starting at 2:00 p.m. PST today, members of the Xbox One Preview Delta and Omega Rings will begin receiving the latest 1904 Xbox One system update (19H1_RELEASE_XBOX_DEV_1904\18362.2018.190410-1845). Read on for more about the new features, fixes and known issues in the latest 1904 system update.

Fixes:

My Games and Apps

Additional fixes for an issue in which switching from media apps such as Youtube/Hulu to a game or from a game to a media app would crash the console

Known Issues:

Audio

Some users are experiencing no audio with headsets and we are investigating

Some users are encountering no audio on their Xbox console after boot (no shell audio, no game audio, no app audio), then have CSS ask them to perform the following steps:

Cold reboot the console

OR

Go to Audio settings on console

Change their HDMI audio settings to the highest supported uncompressed channel count for their equipment

Switch back to the desired format

Audio should be restored

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Xbox One Preview Beta/Delta/Omega System Update 1804.180409-1751 Apr12

Starting at 2.00p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Beta, Delta and Omega Rings will begin receiving the latest Xbox One system update (1804.180409-1751). Read on for more about fixes and known issues in the latest system update.

Fixes:

Audio

The Hulu team is releasing a new app to address the app volume is lower than expected.

System

Fixes to address general system stability and reliability.

Known Issues:

Audio

Some users may experience intermittent loss of Audio with certain configurations of AV receivers with ATMOS or with changing audio configurations during console use.

Microsoft Edge

Sometimes users may encounter crashes in Microsoft Edge when using or viewing multiple tabs or videos.

Workaround : Perform a full reboot of the console.

Pi-hole

Pi-hole users may encounter issues signing in, creating, or recovering accounts upon downloading the 1804 update. This is due to a new configuration file which is downloaded from a URL Pi-hole blocks by default.

Workaround: Add clientconfig.passport.net to the Pi-hole allowed IP address list.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter an incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Xbox One Preview Omega & Delta 1811 System Update 181206–1740 - Dec. 8

Additional fixes to improve the responsiveness of mouse performance to reduce lag.

System

Fixes to improve system performance.

Known Issues:

Audio

We are tracking audio issues in which some games have audio that cuts in and out

Audio settings reverting to a previous settings after taking an update. Workaround is to please turn on your Audio Receiver prior to turning your Xbox One and the settings will not revert.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.
