Windows 10: Xbox party chat cant talk and cant hear anyone/ Modern Warfare game chat cant hear anyone...

Just updated my PC with a new processor and switched my os to an ssd. I use a stand alone mic that works perfectly, usually use a headset plugged directly into the pc for clear audio never had an issue.

Now I cant talk or be heard by anyone on xbox party chat and modern warfare game chat. I have no idea what I did or changed in the settings that could have caused this.

I use discord quite often for coms and it is flawless, no issues on any other games as well.


Can anyone help me fix what is happened, it works on discord so I don't know why it would only be broke on modern warfare game chat and xbox parties. any info is appreciated .


I have gone through all kinds of videos trying to fix and nothing has worked

Tried/ setting as default mic / updating drivers / reinstalling/ using a different mic/ different speaker/ no speaker/ no mic /none of these provide me with any results. please help

Xbox One Party Chat Buzzing

Hello, I recently purchased an xbox one PDP Afterglow Prismatic controller and whenever I join a party there is a constant buzzing sound for everyone else. However in game chat it is fine, what could be the issue and how can I fix it?

This problem started yesterday as that is when I recently purchased the new wired controller. My headset has worked fine in the past without any issues and still works on my old controller, and as I stated above it works fine on this controller in game chat
but as soon as I join a party it buzzes. I cannot hear the buzz only them, but party overlay shows me as constantly talking.

If you can't switch from in-game chat to party chat on your Xbox One console, it may indicate that there's a problem with the Xbox Live service or your network connection.

My xbox communications not letting anyone hear me in game or party chat.

Hello, i am currently having an issue where my communications wont let anyone here me at all.in game or in party chat it wont matter.they can see my mic working but they cant hear any sound,and i cant send out voice messages.my communications came out of
a suspension on the xbox one on the 1st ever since then my communications got like that.i know this was a lot to say but

wanted to be as descriptive as i can.Can i please get some help with this issue?
