Windows 10: Xbox Series XS controller and DS4 controller both have severe input lag after 10-20 minutes...

For the past 2 weeks or so, my controllers have been experiencing increased input lag after using them for only 15 or so minutes. I have tried everything I can find, from trying different drivers to updating my BIOS and even completely reinstalling Windows. My specs are down below. After I flashed my BIOS yesterday, I was able to use the controller for 3 hours with no issues, but after turning on my PC today, the issues came back again. • windows 10 KB number for OS Build is greater than the one listed
• the controller firmware is up to date from the Xbox Accessories app.

 

Controller input delay

Controller input lag exclusively in games, is usually a result of not enabling V-sync setting. This settings can be found in both the respective games and in the advanced GPU settings for the video card, e.g. Nvidia Control Panel. Also, if you monitor has a
gamming mode, try that. It may also help to know what controller/input devices are being affected.

Xbox Series X controller wireless not working with windows 10

Xbox Series X controller is successfully paired however within game (any game) there is no input from the controller. If I connect via cable then I do get input. Paired several times to no avail. I have the latest windows 10 updates and there is no update
for the controller pending.
