Windows 10: Xbox wireless adapter Windows 10

Hey guys! Maybe someone has gone through this before and can help. I'm fairly tech-savvy and can't figure this out.


To start, Yes, I have gone through all the troubleshooting procedures offered by Microsoft.


I have been using the adapter for going on five months with no issues whatsoever. It just stopped connecting a couple days ago. I am using the newer model on my PC while my wife uses the older model on her PC. We both use Xbox One Elite controllers.


The breakdown:


1 - Neither adapter will sync with my controller on my PC regardless of USB port used.

2 - Both adapters will sync on my wife's PC with my controller.

3 - All of the usb ports on my PC work with other devices.

4 - Both adapters are recognized as working and fully updated by device manager on my PC.

5 - Again, my controller works fine wireless on my wife's PC as well as my Xbox One X.



Does anyone have any ideas what may be going on? It's annoying having to play wired. Thanks for any help!
