    I see that after you have upgraded to Windows 10 you are facing issues with the Quickbooks pro 2011.

    Please answer the below questions to assist you better,

    1. Are you getting any error message?

    1. What is the make and model of the computer?

    I would like to inform you that Quickbook Pro 2011 is not compatible with Windows 10. Therefore it is needed to install in compatibility mode.

    Hence,I suggest you to reinstall the Quickbooks pro 2011 in the compatibility mode and check if it helps,

    Please follow the steps below for more information:

    • Right click on the setup file of the application and select
      Properties.
    • Select Compatibility Tab.
    • Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the
      operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
    • Click OK and run the setup.

    Family Tree Maker 2011 won't open in Win. 10

    It may depend on the computer O/S. I originally used it with a Dell Optiflex PC/ Windows Vista; then installed it and on a Packard Bell Notebook/ Windows 7 upgraded to Windows 10 (still working0 and now an Acer Swift Laptop with Windows 10 (Ver.1709).
    But I am using the latest FTM 2017 on Acer so can't advise on jnstalling FTM 2011 on a Windows 10 System as I only refer to it on the 'Notebook'! [NB - the MacKiev FTM 2017 will convert and run your FTM 2011 Tree without bother]

    XFER FTM 2011 from 8.1 to 10.

    Windows 10 and FTM.

    After downloading Windows 10 to replace my 8.1, my Family Tree Maker program and all the many years of data has

    disappeared. It was a FTM version 5 from 1998. I don't recall any warning that this would happen.

    Had I known , I would have kept 8.1. Is there any hope of getting FTM back?
