Windows 10: XPS WRTIER

I use Quickbooks at my business. When I tried to save invoices in PDF was getting an error. I researched and found out that the printer,

Microsoft XPS Document Writer is no longer in the printer list. It is checked as an option for Windows, not the issue. I did not delete this

printer. When I try all the steps to add the printer I am getting a message that the "handle is invalid". At this point, I can no longer generate

PDF files from Quickbooks.

You were never able to create PDFs using the XPS writer. Use Microsoft Print to PDF.

I'm Paul, a fellow customer like you & an Independent Advisor. Kindly try these steps below. Thanks.

1. Go to Control Panel > click Programs and Features > click the "Turn Windows features on or off" link at the left pane > scroll down & uncheck "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" & "Microsoft Print to PDF". Reboot your PC.

2. Go back to the same window above & check both "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" & "Microsoft Print to PDF".

3. Reboot your PC & test do a test print.
