Windows 10: Yahoo Mail Issues

I just noticed that I am unable to reply or move any of my yahoo.mail messages. I researched and found that the culprit is likely the JAVA download .... in my case, the lack of it. I have also read that Microsoft EDGE browser will not run JAVA. Is there a known work around for this ? (Running Windows 10)

Regarding the issue that you had with making email replies on your Yahoo, have you tried performing a uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

We suggest that you follow these steps:

• Uninstall the Yahoo Mail app.
• Perform a soft reset by Pressing the Power and Volume down button simultaneously for 15 seconds.
• Once the phone vibrates, release your hold and wait for the phone to finish rebooting.
• Reinstall Yahoo Mail from the store.

Let us know if the issue persists after following the steps above.

Thanks for the suggestions! I must say that I've used the same ATT server and Thunderbird for all my mail for a long time. The concept of switching over seems daunting. Might you elaborate simply on the two step verification. Old dog and new ways kinda issue!!!
