    Yes I have a problem with windows not finding that there's a problem.


    Why do you make windows dumb. To keep them uneducated so they'll buy the next windows upgrade? Why are the help files online and not accessible on my computer? Why can't it tell me the reason or specific problem instead of giving me the run around with giving me an error code only to be giving a another error code and then another only to end up not helping at all? Why does windows 10 have all these services with names that don't say extract what it is or some vague description that could be 20 different things? Windows is about smart as the people who make it.

    Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

    That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

    I suggest Option 1 is easier.

    If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

    im having the same problem as well, gone through all the steps listed but still no luck unfortunately.

    Need some advice on computer problems.

    Run HDtune (free version) on you hard drive. but most likely that the problem. You can also test your memory with Memtest86 as suggested above
