    hide button does not stop edge

    when I open a new tab in ie 11 the edge comes up which didn't before, this is annoying.

    checking the hide button in options, advanced , which has been suggested a lot on various sites,

    does NOT WORK, I still get edge when creating a new tab.

    why show task view button hide edge icon ?

    Doesn't happen on my 32-bit 1903 Pro. The Edge icon moves along the Taskbar and is always visible if I hide or show any of the Taskview/Search/Cortana icons.

    Try changing a few settings in Personalisation > Taskbar then put them back as you like them. It may correct things.
