Windows 10: "You do not have permission to save to this location"

Hello I am on windows 10 and whenever I try to save something to my computer it tells me "You do not have permission to save to this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission. Would you like to save in the Pictures folder instead? [Yes] [No]" I am the sole account in my PC and this happens with every program. I am unsure if I have downloaded some type of virus, but it's come out of the blue a week or two ago and won't stop. Running the program with administrator does fix it but it is annoying to always have to start it up with administrator whenever I need to download something.

Check folder permissions: Right-click on the folder where you're trying to save the image and select "Properties." Go to the "Security" tab and click on "Edit." Ensure that your user account has the necessary permissions to write to the folder. If your account is not listed, click on "Add" to add your account and assign appropriate permissions.

Take ownership of the folder: If you still can't save to the folder, you can try taking ownership of it. Right-click on the folder, select "Properties," go to the "Security" tab, and click on "Advanced." In the "Advanced Security Settings" window, click on the "Change" link next to the owner's name. Enter your user account name in the "Enter the object name to select" field and click "Check Names" to verify it. Once your account is selected, click "OK" to take ownership of the folder. After that, you should be able to modify the permissions as needed.

You dont have permission to save in this location...

This is a process but it worked for me:
You can follow these steps for one folder or go here to make sure your folder is shared with Everyone
1.Right click on the folder that you can't access and click share with >specific people
2. Click add and then enter Everyone for a user name
3. Click read permissions where it says read to read/write
4. Click share, click done

1. Right click properties on the folder you can't access
2. Click advanced.
3. Click change owner
4. Type Everyone for the owner and select owner reset to full control.
5. close properties
6. Then click on the save file box and choose the default folder you want to save to in the open dialog box.
With a new owner with full control of everything and sharing it should work if you followed this completely. Worked for me. *Shock
