When I try to apply a GPO with only User configuration to an OU with only Users using "Group Policy Update", it shows an error: You have chosen to force a Group Policy update on all computers within TEST and all sub containers. No computer object can be found in this OU or sub OUs. Please select an OU that contains computer objects. How can I update this GPO to Users OU?

    GROUP POLICIES IN WINDOWS 10

You can change Group Policies by opening Group Policy Editor first. You can open it by following these steps:

    • Log in an administrator account. If you are already logged in as an administrator, proceed to step 2.
    • Press Windows + R to open Run.
    • Type gpedit.msc and press Enter.

After opening Group Policy Editor, you can now make the necessary changes that you want.

Should you have more concerns, feel free to post.

    Regards.

    Windows Domain Group Policy

The computers are fairly old and redirecting to the server is better. I forced group policy too update. I ended up figuring out the problem it was a permissions issue... imagine that. But I am having other problems such has setting the local administrator password, and I want to create some shortcuts on the desktop for all the users. Edit: it misdirects but now I cant write in the folder.. : /

Ok now I have that issue fixed *Big Grin You have chosen to force a Group Policy update on all computers within TEST and all sub... :D But still am having other issues with loading the other group policy problems
