This error shows up on my Update window and Windows Defender is also not working and the Virus-Threat Protection Settings are all disabled.


Things I already Tried :

1 Malwarebyte - around 60 items successfully Quarantined after the scan.

2 sfc/scannow ---> 100% completed no issues found

3DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth --> No corruptions detected.


Yet the problem persists, please help me out.

I got a notification saying that i wasn't able to update my pc. The last update date is around a week or two from when i reinstalled windows (might be the same day or a few days after) apparently windows hasnt checked for updates since and ive searched the web for fixes but none seem to work. My update history is also blank.

Thank you. Below are screen shots from Hard Disk Sentinel, as well as Crystal Disk, which is what I normally use for checking disk health.













I see now about the ISO file now. I can just run it in Windows Explorer and then click on the Setup.exe file inside the ISO file to run it, correct?

At this point I am wondering if I should take any other steps first before running the ISO file and doing the install?

I will of course make a drive image first using Acronis before running it though.
