    I am not able to update my Windows 10 due to this error "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes. Error code: (0x80073712)"


    I have tried below method but it's not working.


    Open administrative Command Prompt by typing CMD in Start Search, right click result to Run as Administrator, copy and paste or type the following commands one-by-one followed by Enter key.

    net stop wuauserv
    net stop cryptSvc
    net stop bits
    net stop msiserver
    Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
    Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old
    net start wuauserv
    net start cryptSvc
    net start bits
    net start msiserver


    Please help me to fix this issue

    When installing my updates I keep receiving this error notice "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes."

    How do I fix this? I have Googled the issue but all it does is confuse me. Can any one please help with this?
