Windows 10: Your forced update ruined my computer!

I have the blue screen of death, This is fraud, I did not want the update! My computer was fine prior to the update!


I gather the "fix" is to purchase yet another window based computer, to download some fix for your forced update! No Way! I went out and got another chromebook, the hp chroomebook 14x360 and I dont expect it to get bricked from any forced updates. As I have other chroomebooks that have worked for a very long time, and still do work.


I will never buy a windows based product again. I will hang on to the one microsoft ruined, in case of a class action lawsuit. FRAUD!!!!

I will gladly dispose of any "ruined computer" that Windows 10 has "ruined". Just ship them to me and I will take care of disposing of the "ruined" hardware!

I haven't had to face that problem with any of my PCs yet. (Touch wood. [Old pagan ritual to avoid bad luck.])

You may ultimately have to re-install Windows, but I hope that someone can offer a less painful fix.

A suggestion: "Windows 10 update ruined my computer" sounds like a ranting post. There are many helpful people here, but they respond better to requests for help than to complaints.

 

does Windows Update force install of optional updates on Windows 10

This is game breaking, literally. Already my computer was corrupted for trying to run an older nvidia driver that was forced to update and failed, making a clash of drivers and shutting down my system in overheating.

Why would anyone take away an optional updates list??? This is almost as bad as taking away a classic start menu option in Windows8! Plus DPI scaling was ruined!!!!
