Windows 10: Your Phone app disconnects when gaming

Hello. I have a problem with Your Phone app. Every time some game window is focused, the Your Phone app disconnects from my phone. Alt-tabbing out of the game and focusing another Window causes it to reconnect in a few seconds. Is this intended behavior? Can it be somehow configured to stay connected even when gaming? This happens in multitude of games and two devices (my desktop PC and wives laptop).

Attaching a video that displays the issue in World of Warcraft, but it happens in multitude of games.

connect/disconnect sounds

If the connect/disconnect sounds is only happening when playing an specific game, It might be a game app or a driver issue. we suggest that you try to uninstall and reinstall the game and check if the problem persists. Check the steps provided below:

• Open the Start menu.
• Click Settings.
• Click System on the Settings menu.
• Select Apps & features from the left pane. ...
• Select an app you wish to uninstall.
• Click the Uninstall button that appears.

Make sure also that your device software drivers are updated.

Supported phones for Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview


Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.
