Windows 10: Your Phone app or best alternative to Pushbullet

Hi,

I've followed all the troubleshooting instructions from the Your Phone app trying to grant permission for PC and phone to access\exchange data, but nothing works. It just times out and asks me to resend.

If I go to "get help" on the phone app, it leads me to download the Microsoft Launcher. I've had bad experience with that app in the past, Completely messed up my phones home page theme, icons, etc., so that's out.

I either need to solve this, or find a good alternative to Pushbullet, which only works correctly in Chrome for me. Chrome is not my browser of choice.

In both my Pushbullet Firefox addon, and my Microsoft Pushbullet desktop app, I can't get SMS messages to sync beyond August 2018, and when I try to send messages, they gets stuck on "pending" or an exclamation mark icon pops up saying "Sorry, we couldn't send that"

Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

When my phone fails to upgrade I just keep trying. One upgrade took 3 or 4 tries.
