Windows 10: Your Phone App shows in Start Menu but doesn't open

    Your Phone App shows in Start Menu but doesn't open


    The Your Phone App shows on my start menu, but when I try to open it, nothing happens and when I right-click to get the option to go to the App Settings, it doesn't show up as an installed app.


    The Microsoft Store thinks the app is not installed, but when I try to install it I get an error 0x80073D05.


    I got a new phone and when I tried to transfer over the phone, things blew up.


    I have unlinked both phones from my Microsoft Account, rebooted my computer, tried to install the app again and nothing works.


    Is there a way to get Windows to see about repairing that app?

    Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

    Applications still showing on Start menu after powershell deletion


    Hi,

    I've used powershell to remove some apps (like Xbox games).

    On one account, it cleaned up the start menu just fine.

    Second account, they were showing on the start menu, so I ran powershell again and verified everything was gone that I wanted, but Xbox is still showing on the menu list. *Not* as a tile, but in the "All Apps" list. I have also tried looking at the Start Menu in File Explorer for that User and can not see the App listed.

    Suggestions?

    Frequently used apps in Start menu

    Thank you for the information. I followed the instructions (this is Windows 10). The items on the Start menu are:

    1. Show More Tiles. It was turned off so I turned it back on.

    2. Show App List in Start Menu - ON

    3. Show Recently Added Apps - ON

    4. Show Most Used Apps - Off but is gray so I cannot do anything with it.

    5. Occasionally Show Suggestions in Start - Off

    6. Use Full Start Screen - Off

    7. Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar - On

    Even with turning the Show More Tiles on the Show Most Used Apps is not available. Any suggestions?
