Windows 10: "Your Phone" app update hangs at Downloading... 130.0 KB

See subject. I've rebooted. And stopped and restarted this particular update. When I restart is does some downloading and installing and checking product files and then some almost ready and then it reverts back to Downloading until it hangs. Other updates that were present at the same time I first saw this installed fine. The app's Start icon is greyed out, and it hangs at the splash screen on startup.


Luckily I don't depend on it. Another day, another Microsoft breakage.

EMUI

Here's the steps to update EMUI 4.1.1 to 5.0 :

• Download the EMUI 5.0(desired version) .zip file, and unzip it.
• Place the .hwt file in the HWThemes folder from your phone.
• Using the Themes app, apply the new theme.
• Restart the phone, in order to see all the new changes.

And you’re done!

 

App update issues

Thank you for the answer. I did manage to fix it somehow, by doing the following:

1. RMB on My Phone app in the start menu
2. App settings
3. Stop
4. Fix

After that, all other apps updated correctly. Then, when I checked for updates, ~130 KB was downloaded for the My Phone app and it installed correctly.
