Windows 10: 'Your Virus & threat protection is managed by your organization' repeat problem

everytime my laptop is off for any period of time, when I log back on and open up windows defender, I receive the message 'your virus and threat protection is managed by your organisation'. as advertised by another thread on this message, every time i:

'type “cmd” in the search box; right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator; and then copy, paste, and enter this command:


REG DELETE "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender" /v DisableAntiSpyware '

this clears up the problem until I shut down my laptop again, it isn't a permanent solution, and i'm not sure what to do.

I just updated my Windows with April update and my defender Antivirus is showing "Your Virus & threat protection is managed by your organization" instead of the usual scanning options.

I want my defender with scanning options, how do I do it.
