Windows 10: YouTube videso

Hello,


I can not find or send a video from YouTube,like I use to be able to do,on Windows 7.


I do not know how to find,or open my MP4 file.


I have looked in File Explorer,documents,desktop,downloads,pictures,and pictures.


I don't know a lot about computers.


Can someone please help me,and tell me the detailed steps on how to do this?

YouTube videsos do not play

YouTube videos do not play on my new Windows 10 Home desktop comnputer. It doesn't matter whether I use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Firefox. Sometimes the sound works, but there is no picture and either a green screen is displayied or a loading circle
which turns endlessly and then freezes, This applies only to YouTube videos regardless of whether the videos are on the YouTube site or on other sites, such as Facebook or Twitter. But videos on other non-YouTube sites work fine. I have tried all the suggested
fixes, but nothing works. Is there a setting somewhere in Windoes 10 that I have to change? All my software is up to date.

Please help!

 

YouTube videsos do not play

Charlie, YouTube now works in Edge too. I found the following steps somewhere and it worked:

Press Windows key + R

Type inetcpl.cpl

Click the Advanced tab and browse to the Accelerated graphics section.

Select the Use software rendering instead of CPU rendering check box.

Click Apply and then OK.

Windows 10 issue with youtube ?

Since you have upgraded to Windows 10 recently, the drivers might not be updated to the latest available. If the drivers are not updated or if the drivers are corrupted, you may find issues like this.

  How exactly are you trying to access YouTube, is it through browser or through YouTube app?
  

If you are accessing YouTube through a browser, I suggest you to try with different browser and check if it helps.



I suggest you to follow the steps below and update the graphic drivers and check if the issue is resolved.

  Type Device Manager on the search bar.
  
• 
  Open Device Manager, expand Display Adapters.
  
• 
  Find and double-click Display Adapters.
  
• 
  Right-click the device, and click Update driver software
  and follow the on-screen instructions.
  
• 
  Restart the system after updating.
  

Also I suggest you to update all the pending updates (if any) and check if it helps.
