Windows 10: yt3 ggpht.com how do i get rid of it?

Hi. I have been having problems with my browser for the past month or so. Suddenly it was virtually impossible for my browser to load any pages at all. Browser is firefox and I have windows 7 on my laptop. Last night i finally decided to run a full scan with then found out that yt3ggpht.com is actually a virus.microsoft security essentials and found that I had picked up a browser redirecting trojan called js/phish. I got rid of it and got back online and found that i could not get on youtube. the page would not fully load. No images. I noticed that I kept seeing "getting information from yt3 ggpht.com. And of course it didn't load my page. I then found out that yt3 ggpht.com is actually a virus. Security essentials did not detect it, but it is there for sure. My question is how do i get rid of it? As always, there seems to be lots of alleged fixes out there, which may work on versions earlier than Win 10... but not with Win 10. The struggle for getting rid of this now un-needed bloat seems to be wrapped up in file permissions. But even when I try to clobber it with administrative authority, it won't budge. One fix suggests that you can use disk cleanup to get rid of it by selecting previous installation files. Heh. Yeah. Just TRY and find that option in Win 10.

Ok. Somebody hopefully has managed to resolve this inigma. Step by step, please.

 

Programs Missing From Control Panel List

I was able to get rid of XNVIEW by downloading it and using it's own uninstaller.
Have tried method suggested by Pyramid 10 with photoscape without success.
Can't figure out how to do what is asked.

Type Diskcleanup in Cortana, bottom left.
Click on Cleanup System Files, There you will see a second option in yellow highlight, More options.
Do note the bottom Attachment comes up first.
