    Zoom and Skype keep Freezing


    Hello,


    So I've been experiencing freezes on zoom and skype calls. I've reset my network and reentered the wi-fi password. I turned the router off and then on. I've run diagnostics test and it keeps saying nothing is wrong. Nothing is stopping the zoom and skype calls from freezing.

    Hello,

    Have you checking the privacy settings if Camera is ON on both Zoom and Skype?

    Go to Setting > Privacy > Camera > make sure the toggle button for both Zoom and Skype are ON.

    If my suggestion did not solve the issue, please reply back and confirm if there is an error message or error code so we can try other step.

    Might as well open the Camera App and test if it's working there so we can narrow down the problem.

    Webcam Zoom in Skype

    I have the latest version of Skype. I am able to see my webcam image in the video configuration section, but it is zoomed in too close. Is there a way to adjust the zoom, using Skype or some software-based method?

    Hi,

    I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

    • If you have a mouse with a wheel, hold down the Ctrl key, and then scroll the wheel to zoom in or out.
    • From the keyboard, you can increase or decrease the zoom value in 10% increments. To zoom in, press Ctrl + (+). To zoom out, press Ctrl + (-). To restore the zoom to 100%, press Ctrl+0.
