Windows 10: Zoom meetings settings are not self-evident!

Over the last few months more people have switched from Skype to Zoom. I and my family and professional groups among them. But the way that the programme works seems to vary every week, and not always for the better!

The worst problem I have encountered several times on and off is the unreliability of audio output. The latest example has been this week when early on the output from my speakers disappeared. Tests using the Windows control functions that give audible test signals when repeated using the Zoom version of those setup tests give no sound output even though the Zoom test bars are moving in time with the test tones sequenced
At one time I thought I have solved it when I discovered that Zoom had an update available. I tried that yesterday and the speakers suddenly started giving an output again!

Today when I checked the sound had gone again even though the indicator bar in Zoom settings was bouncing away happily. I then tried uninstalling Zoom, restarting, and after rebooting, made a fresh installation - no output from the speakers again.

Any ideas? It seems to me that the Zoom audio signal is being incorrectly routed to an internal sound bus so never arrives at the speakers input point. The Windows sound mixer shows two inputs from Zoom as well as from Skype but only the Skype ones actually give a result.

How do I get the ZOOM app onto the Privacy access list?

I'm not having any luck in unblocking the camera. I can see and hear at Zoom meetings, but not seen.

Does Zoom need Windows permission? How do you fix that? I'm not very good at tech mazes; maybe someone

can walk me through that needed connection? Why is Zoom omitted from the apps with access list?

Error number received at clicking the video sign to join: #OxA00F4244 [no connection)

Checked re App Access which are all marked ON, but no Zoom app listed.

Suggestions, recommendations?

 

Sound not working after Zoom meeting through Bluetooth

I have an issue where my music does not play through Bluetooth headphones after a Zoom meeting. It was working perfectly fine before, but after my Zoom meeting (which I listened to and participated in using my Bluetooth headphones, the sound didn't work.
The song was playing, but there was no sound through my headphones. This is a recurring problem after Zoom meetings.

Any suggestions?

 

Zoom meetings

I am unable to participate with video on a Zoom meeting. I can get a still photo but it has a white camera with a slash through it. But, no video.
