Windows 10: 1-3 second lags

So this started like last week where i get these small lags when my pc freezes for like 1-3 seconds. It can happen when i play games or just browsing. It happens probably like 2 times every hour. This is a problem for me because when i play csgo and im shooting towards someone and everything just lags and i die. It's a small problem but it is really frustrating.
I have been googling for solutions but i haven't found anyone yet.

i5-4460 3.2 GHz
Seagate SSHD 1TB
500W Corsair

Laptop (Mouse, touchpad and other) lag

Hi!

I tried everything and I am little desperate now.

I have Windows 10 on Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro laptop.

When I use external mouse or built in touchpad then there is a fraction of a second lag every 1 or 2 seconds. It is using Windows the mouse freezes for moment (like 1/10 of a second) and then moves forward as expected. This issue is anoying becouse I misclick
often due to this lag.

This lag is in every app that is not part of Windows OS. (Chrome, Mailbird, Edge, Skype, Clipper etc), and allso when moving mouse in Start menu, settings.... but it is not lagging when it active over some apps like Task manager.

I tried (includin restart after changes)

1. I tried to remove external mouse (Logitech M705), but it does not help as using touchpad it still has the same bad behavior.

2. Reinstalling drivers for graphic card and mouse.

3. uninstalling any unnecessary software (including Google Chrome)

4. Swiched off Cortana.

The Task manager shows no significant load to processor (usual load of 10...12% for system), memory used just 3.7 Gb from 8Gb) or SSD drive (like 1...3% load only). I have jut built in anti malware tools and no other software (as far as I know) the does
something real time on computer.

PS

Just noticed if I press and hold arrow key then cursor moves in the text and is experiencing the same lag every second or two. So this is definatelly something to do with whole system freezing for moment. Could it be built in Antimalware tools?

 

N96 such a disappointment

My problems have still not been adressed. I have the latest firmware drivers...

1)Crash after phone idle

2)No handset speaker on calls after idle if still functional

3)Lag on SE DS2200 bluetooth headphones every 10 seconds for a 1 second.

4)Inability to open music player or close it, (everything else functioning.)

Any suggestions?

Does the delay sound like it may be a hard disk spinning back up after being turned off when idle.

nah like everything just lags, the sound the mouse everything, i dont really know what it is

and no that option is disabled

or nvm it was set to 20 min, i set it to Never

 

it didnt help, but when i played Arma 3 today my pc just totally freezed and i had to restard it by holding down the button on the pc.
Could this be a graphics card problem? i did a RAM diagnostic search for problems but it didnt find any.

 

Hi, first stop after that sort of thing would be to check your event log (event viewer) - there are some freeware tools around that might help to list crashes.

After that, and assuming no hardware problem, basic checks like chkdsk and sfc /scannow, which it's worth doing to avoid wasting time on other investigations.

After that, create a simpler environment- process of elimination - try to establish a situation where you're not experiencing these problems. E.g. try a clean boot.
