Windows 10: Add Power Plans to Dell Laptop

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5577 model with Win 10 Home. It only has one Power Plan, Balanced. My desktop (home built) has High Performance. Is there a way to get it on Win 10 Home? Or do I have to create my own power plan?

I use the Laptop for my recording studio and want the High Performance like I have on my desktop.

i have been using Dell laptop so its currently on Dell power plan. before the update it was the same plan and it was doing good but now its not.

Windows 10 closing applications upon sleep or coming out of sleep mode

Same problem with Dell 5559 laptop. Updating BIOS didn't work. Changing power plan to "Balanced" worked.

 

Mod that one, or make your own > Create a power plan.

The last version update removed some preset choices.

The preset choices were not the same as a Desktop for obvious reasons of power dissipation and mobile CPUs power saving options.

Don't forget that more recent editions of Win10 (I think starting with FCU), there's a hide/show control for additional power plans in the window. You may have other plans defined, but you need to show them before you can pick them. Here's what I mean:

You may very well have to define a new power plan to get things the way you want them. But try this first, and see what you've got.

There are no other power plan options available on the Dell PC. Its Win 10 Home . I've already checked before I made the post.
I'll have to create my own power plan.

 

Sorry, Fireberd: didn't mean to come across as critical or nagging. Indeed, many PCs do benefit from entirely new or heavily customized power plans. Just wanted to make sure you didn't overlook something potentially helpful. Should've known you'd already beaten me to that check. Again: sorry!
