  1. AM I THE ONLY ONE DROWNING IN TOO MUCH INFORMATION, TOO MUCH SECURITY GUIDANCE AND TOO...

Starting about 4 years ago when I received this Dell computer with Windows 7 on it, I seemed to be getting over-whelmed with too much software technology to get anything done that I needed to do. Since then I have up-graded to Windows 10 and rather than things improving, THEY HAVE GOTTEN WORSE. Some aspects of Windows 10 seem good but I feel like I just sort of fell into this tar pit improved and I use this word loosely software that is so broad that I don't think I am even using 10% of what could be used. The "tips" have grown to I think 183 or is it 283?.

Four years ago I sought help with the initial set-up and I think the guy just got tired of helping me understand how to open accounts and create passwords and "PINS" and voice recognition for CORTANA, and account names I think I have at least 2 in OUTLOOK and 1 in one of the other plethora of opportunistic choices. Almost any time I try to get onto one of them, I cannot find a way in i.e. cutting through the security services of PWs, PINS, Codes, etc. Then the guidance for developing suitable names certainly offers unending opportunities for screwing up and losing your data because you need to print it and mail it somewhere like the IRS, for instance.

So when I finally get into the place where I think I have been successful conquering getting past all the guards, I suddenly find there is now something wrong with my PASSWORD and they refer me back to another location where I am screened for the umpteenth time as to who I am and where I am and I have to produce all the info that is already in the machine somewhere in triplicate by now. And then the machine complains that it cannot continue until I prove that I am not a robot or need to come up with yet another PW or PIN until the computer is satisfied with WHO I AM.

And then today I heard the news that the Chinese have just hacked out American system for approximately one-half the personal information in the U.S.!

GIVE ME A BREAK GUYS, WE ARE NO-WHERE NEAR "COMPUTER FRIENDLY" YET.

    :)

AM I THE ONLY ONE DROWNING IN TOO MUCH INFORMATION, TOO MUCH SECURITY GUIDANCE AND TOO...

    Voice guidance option missing

After you've got the list of directions, tap a step in the directions list to get the voice guidance. It's not a "real" turn-by-turn where it will automatically tell you when to turn, you have to tap a direction step.

As a fellow Canuck, I recommend you leave all regional options on "English (Canada)" except Browser & search Language. Leave that one on "English (United States)" to get Local Scout.
