Windows 10: BSOD (dxgmms2.sys) SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION every 10-20 min of Arma 2

Hi,

Since 2 days I am continuously getting BSOD while playing Arma 2 every 10 - 20 minutes of gameplay. It started with latest Windows 10 update i think.

I uninstalled the only 3 windows update components from Programs and Features but still BSOD wasn't resolved.
Then i downgraded my Nvidia drivers (GTX 690) to those released in July last year (353.62). But still BSOD wasn't resolved.

BSOD when playing 3d game

Hello everybody.

I now have problems with Half-Life2. Sometimes when game loads next location (and only when it does it) windows crashes with
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION dxgmms2.sys. I updated all drivers, have latest DirectX, all updates, 4GB page file. But crashes continues.

How can it be fixed?

Please try different slots for your GPU's to see if that improves anything.

 

That didn't resolve the issue. I still got 2 BSODs today. *Sad

 

To determine what GPU is causing this you need to remove 1 GPU and test it, switch and test agian.

 

Its a single GPU card Nvidia GTX 690 which shows up as 2 GPUs in the system info because GTX 690 has 2 680s on the same board within the graphics card. Physically its just 1 card using 1 slot.
