    BSOD regularly WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

    Hi everybody,

I have this blue screen time to time with the code : WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

Notice that since the beginning I have this laptop (Acer ES1-711G-P11R, BIOS and drivers are updated), to surf on the web is impressively slow, I have to wait for 5 seconds to open a simple window (the same with all the browsers...).

I found out that it seems to be linked with "ntoskrnl.exe+14a6f0" (I have Windows10 64bit).

The DM log collector file is attached.Attachment 115179

I hope to be able to solve this problem, at last!

    Thanks in advance a lot!

    :)

  2. BSOD WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

Getting a blue screen of randomly after it's been on for a while but I can start up just fine in safe mode with no crashes.

No overclocks as far as I know, and the PC is relatively new (only 2 months old)

Any idea what could be causing this?

These are called BCC124 and are related to hardware. Read how to diagnose and hopefully to fix them in this

    Hi bencobox,

    Welcome to the 10forums *Smile

If you are using a program like Ccleaner please stop using it while troubleshooting. This because programs like Ccleaner remove dump files that are needed to troubleshoot.Or configure Ccleaner to not remove dump files:

    Hi!
Thanks a lot for your answer!
I just stopped a test with Prime95 (4 at the same time), after around 10.000 tests per each, the result is 0 errors...
So as I can understand, there is no problem with the CPU?

How long did you run the test to reach 10.000?
    What test did you run?

I ran 3 hours I think, the "Blend" test with number of torture test threads to run : 4
    It's not that?

ok, I ran for new the same test, and now, I passed around 60 per worker without any error during 4 hours.
I don't know what happened yesterday but it was "test 1", then "test 2" etc... till "test 150" for each type of test (25K, 1152K, etc...) but today, it had been one test for each of them...
I think that the problem is not from the CPU, have you got other ideas?
    Thanks a lot!

I do have other ideas, but I would first like to know for sure that you've downloaded your drivers from the right source.
An easy way to get remove these drivers is by using a restore point prior the installation.

  10. bencobox Win User
Axe0, all my drivers had been downloaded by official websites.
Besides, I just uninstalled Driverscloud, I used that just to know what drivers were not updated, but I didn't downloaded them from Driverscloud...

If those tests give negative results (no problems found), then we can do a few other things like driver verifier.
