The Broadcom drivers i found for my chipset are the b57nd60a.sys, not the k57nd60a.sys Is there a possibility that i have the wrong drivers installed?

I have so far installed the ME 11.0.0.1158 driver, The INF 10.0.0.27 driver and the RST v3.8.0.1111 driver from the Asrock website.

There is a difference in RST drivers. For example the regular RST and the RST enterprise which is currently installed. Which one is better or isn't there any difference?

No, after tripple checking I noticed I have entered 'b' instead of 'k' when searching through the drivers list
Possibly because I see the b57nd60a.sys driver more often.

    Confusement *Confused
I added the network device below so you can check it yourself if it is correct *Wink

The one provided by the motherboard manufacturer is usually better.

Well. that sucks then because the K version is not found on the site for the designated goal. Only the B one

Latest ethernet drivers as listed on the site are already installed.

  5. lol they are both on the same asrock site. Thats confusing then. Somewhere in the past there was this problem that usally the one works and the other not. should i give them both a try?

I've managed to get the RST V12.9.0.2001 to be installed on my machine, but any newer versions won't work. The V13 complains about a missing Framework 4.5:RST and the latest V14 won t install either after unzipping it with 7Zip as some suggested.

Where do you check the drivers? The link I provided (in previous post in this thread) doesn't show drivers for your network adapter.

  7. For me its the NIC Netlink 57xx stated NetLink® 57xx (x64) BCM57781 , BCM57785 , BCM57790 , BCM57795 or BCM57780 which has the K. its a tiny difference in just the K or B. The NetLink®/NetXtreme® version has the B

    But where making progress *Smile

    You can find them here.

  8. BSOD storport.sys (clueless)

Another strange thing happened tonight. I didn't had a bsod after 6 hours of mapbuilding in FC4 but instead i got an annoying flicker screen. This morning uninstalled the Nvidia drivers to fix this issue. Nevermind. Still flickering. Could this be happend due to uninstallment/updates of drivers and or software? A thing i noticed in the past that specific softwareupdates did bring this flicker also. I think that was the reason some of the software i used wasn't updated anymore and got me in this checkmate position.

What software was it you didn't update?

  10. I thought the Logitech drivers. But it's stupid. I made an backup before I even began on this forum with no flicker being present. And even that backup is flickering now. It doesn't make any sense. Could this be hardware related? I had a lightningstrike 5 months ago and replaced 1 of the 2 video cards present because it was broken. Could it be that the other one is failing right now due to that strike?

That could certainly be possible, you could try stress testing it and removing it to see if the stress testing finds problems (and if it doesn't a removal confirms if it really was the cause).

  12. Furmark is now running on 1 GPU. The new one i took out and the older one that had the smack in his face from the lightning runs just fine.
That lightningstrike hit the Ziggo cable and all the devices that where linked trough HDMI were fried but the bottom card didnt. Lucky me.
All seems good on a single card. Also no flickering right now. I'm guessing its an SLI issue but what i don't understand is why it came out of the blue. *Shock

Some things may just happen out of nowhere.

  14. First i'm going to figure out what's causing this nonsense.
I'll keep you posted on the BSOD's.
Thank you very much for the given support so far!

  15. I have managed to get both cards working again. First i uninstalled the Nvidia drivers and also in devicemanager uninstalled the windows drivers. Then reinstalled latest Nvidia drivers. Then i put the 2nd card in. Activated SLI in Nvidia control panel and ran the Furmark stresstest +100Mhz coreclock and +350Mhz memoryclock trough MSI afterburner. It was a solid test and all looks good by now. The real test comes when i'm going to start with the mapbuilder again. There it began.

*I think when it happens again the easiest way to get a solid non flashing desktop is just disabling SLI in Nvidia controlpanel and from there on work further.
