Windows 10: Computer does not update any more?

    Computer does not update any more?


    Windows just now wiped clean my update history. Everything appears ok though. Sfc /scannow has the right results. This has happened before with no harm. May be a size limit to all the updates that are stored and when that limit is reached maybe it cleans that cache. Maybe.

    Ran the file and it said everything successful, did a reboot and still will not do windows update?

    The only suggestion I can offer is to do a repair install.
    I assume you know how to do that, so I won't bore you with the "how-to".

    A couple weeks ago I got a black screen on boot up,did a repair install to get computer running. After the repair install all was working again except I found it would not up date? Just not sure what to try next.

    Clean Install.
    Keep nothing.
    Start fresh.
    Use the most current Win 10 iso file.

    Refrain from registry tweaking which might be the cause of not getting Windows updates.
    (Media Center, remember ?)
